Our Story
The Beginning
Our story starts at our local Chik-fil-A, it was one of the many jobs I worked during college to pay for school, and Chance came in wayyy too much for “chicken”. We were both in other relationships and so didn’t pay much attention to each other, however, when those ended, our relationship shortly began. We began dating for the next 1 and a half years, still frequenting Chik-fil-A, and soon realized that we wanted more. Chance coincidentally proposed exactly on our 1.5 year dating anniversary and coming soon this October I will be taking his last name !!!
Our Proposal
In April 2024, we went to go see my dad for a baseball game in Dallas, and since we had some extra time decided to go look at rings and see what I liked. I thought he was also asking my dad for permission, but I later found out that didn’t happen until November, just a week before he proposed. We had had a San Antonio trip planned to go see the Christmas lights and Chance was pushing it because he knew he was going to propose, unknown to me. I always told him I wanted it private, and so after I got done doing my makeup before dinner that night, Chance suggested that I set up my phone to take a video to screenshot photos for later, something we do all the time, and there on our balcony with San Antonio Christmas lights behind us, Chance dropped to one knee and asked me to be his wife. Of course I said yes, then he took me to dinner, which was actually an engagement celebration.
We’re so excited to start the next phase of their lives together and can’t wait to celebrate with you in October!

- Fun Facts About Us -
- Our favorite outdoor adventure we have been on was hiking up Enchanted Rock, but we largely underestimated its difficulty and size and ended up huffing and puffing to get to the top.
- After our first concert together, William Clark Green, Chance officially asked me to be his girlfriend in the Whataburger parking lot.
- We are a house divided, for college football at least, Chance roots for the Texas Longhorns and I root for Texas A&M Aggies. This does make for an interesting dynamic come Thanksgiving week!!!
